Shelley's educational background consists of a Marketing Management & Professional Sales diploma from BCIT, the Bachelor of Business Administration program at Okanagan College, and the Real Estate Trading Services/ Broker's Licensing Course at UBC. Prior to entering the real estate arena - Shelley spent 10 years in the non-profit sector. Real estate is in Shelley's blood - her father, Warren Parker and uncle, Robert Parker were Realtors® for 20+ years. Her forefathers were part of the history of Summerland - her father and grandfather were the contractors & developers for the Sumac Ridge Golf and Country Club and many of the homes in the surrounding area.
For the past 15 years Shelley has put her knowledge, experience, skills and talents towards assisting individuals, families and investors in buying and selling real estate in the Okanagan Valley. Jill has called Penticton her home for the last 26 years and started in real estate by buying her first home at the age of 19. Her experience as a real estate consumer, buying and selling houses has left her with extensive knowledge of the Okanagan Market. Before obtaining her real estate licence, she spent 10 years working throughout the Okanagan as an educational support worker with School District No. 67 and as a swim instructor with the City of Penticton.
Jill’s experience in real estate as a consumer has taught her how to care for her clients from all the good, and not so good experiences. Angella is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Summerland who owns and operates a local accounting firm with over twenty years of public practice experience in Corporate, Personal, Estate and Trust accounting.
In 2017, Angella seized an opportunity to be able to assist with the operations of real estate brokerage businesses and thereby completed the UBC Real Estate Trading Services licensing program to compliment her already growing accounting business. As a licensed Realtor® since then, she has assisted Parker Real Estate with the day to day operations of the brokerage and is currently completing the UBC Brokers licensing program in order to be licensed as an Associate Broker in the near future. Angella’s background and knowledge makes her an excellent Realtor® with a unique specialty for complex tax scenarios that often arise in the sale of commercial businesses, farms and investments. At the same time, her enthusiasm and friendliness draws buyers to her and she thoroughly enjoys helping clients find their new home, whether its for the first time or the last time.
Angella has lived in Summerland with her husband Matt since 2000 and they pride themselves in their three busy teenage kids who are all actively involved in their community.
